In 2014 my 85 year old mother in law was finally diagnosed with a large slow growing cancerous pancreatic tumor. w/symptoms ignored for years as indigestion by her Fam.Phys. complicated by Afib., diabetes2 and history of strokes. Dr Howard then at OhioStateUniversity, performed an 8 hour whipple procedure SUCCESSFULLY removed and cured.Aside from the anticipated symptoms of erratc blood sugar and lack of appetite , recovered an assessment of daily living skills to be expected for her age.
