Dr. John Furrey is the best ortho doctor I’ve ever had. I saw him 3-4 times when he was at Rush. At each appointment he was was very thorough at explaining what was causing my pain; knee a couple of times, finger the next, and foot the last time I saw him. At EACH appointment Dr. Furrey relieved the pain from my joints during my visit ex. drained the fluid off my knee using state of the art equipment that he brought into the room. It was great because I didn’t have to come back or go elsewhere in the building, he did all of the procedures on the spot. Afterwards, he took the time to explain what to expect moving forward, as well as, future steps in case my ailments returned or didn’t get better. I was extremely disappointed when I called recently for an appointment and was told he was no longer at Rush. I plan to hopefully locate him elsewhere so he can heal my other busted up knee!
