I was referred to see a neurosurgeon by the Ochsner emergency department and made an appointment with Dr Reeves. He spent nearly an hour with me going over my MRI and my CT scan and explaining everything to me and explaining to me that they sent me to the wrong doctors that what I really needed was an ENT that that there are no abnormalities in my brain at all.There was no rush he answered all of my questions in a day and age were you are typically ushered in and out as quickly as possible it's refreshing to have a doctor who is open honest and ethical I highly recommend Dr Reeves to anyone who is in need of a neurosurgeon even if it is just for a second opinion or a consultation this is the standard of carrier looking for.

Dr. Reeves did a general surgery residency at the Shreveport LSUHSC campus before returning to New Orleans for a second residency in neurosurgery. His fellowship was in Switzerland at University Hospital of Zurich, working under world renowned
cerebrovascular and brain tumor neurosurgeon Dr. M. Gazi Yasargil. Dr. Reeves is board certified in neurological surgery (American Board of Neurological Surgery).
Away from the clinic, Dr. Reeves enjoys spending time with his wife, Jamie Woodruff Reeves, and their two grown daughters. Dr. Reeves enjoys the usual southern pastimes of fishing, hiking, exercise, reading, cooking and entertaining. And of course, he enjoys playing fetch with his beloved fur child Kojo.
