How likely are you to recommend Dr. Sharp?

I have been a patient of Dr. Sharp since 2005 and consider him an excellent physician, however, I am extremely disappointed in his new organization's communication. I had a standing 6 month follow-up scheduled for 7/30/20 at 9:30 AM. When I arrived I was told my appointment was cancelled due to the change in organizations. I was never advised of the change in location of the office or the fact that my appointment was cancelled. I arrived timely and was turned away with paper work to complete and a new appointment in September. I had contacted the office about a prescription I needed filled with CVS Caremark and never received a response. I need a new prescription for Eliquis. I cannot see any reason for the total lack of communication and the inconvenience caused by cancelling my appointment without notice. The staff blamed Memorial Health but that is a poor excuse for my situation. I hope changes will be made to rectify this situation.
