Switched to Dr Rau in 2017 after my physician told me that he was not accepting my insurance any longer and that he was ready to retire. I should have made this change years earlier as this (younger) doctor recommended several good changes in the medicines and supplements I was taking. My blood pressure is now where it should be, he found a heart murmur, recommended an 'out of the box' way to get me a badly needed hip replacement after the number 1 hip replacement surgeon in Indiana told me that I was not a candidate.Appointments have always been on time and the office staff is friendly and helpful. If you want a doctor who tells you his opinion but leaves the decision to the patient, then I highly recommend him. He will not tell you what you want to hear but rather what you need to hear.
