Dr. Lisk's Background
Dr. Lisk is board certified with a fellowship in movement disorders and works for Southern California Movement Disorder Specilaists. His training consists of the treatment of Parkinson’s Disease, Essential Tremor and Cervical Dystonia, Huntington’s Chorea, programming and intraoperative monitoring for Deep Brain Stimulator Surgery for Parkinson’s Disease; Dystonia; the management of Baclofen pumps for the management of Spasticity and Botox administration
Dr. Lisk has been on the board of directors of the American Heart Association African-American Task Force for the Western States, Alzheimer’s Association Board Member Southwest Missouri Chapter, on KTLA Channel 5, 102.3FM KJLH, LA Talk Radio “The Mother Love Show”, 980AM KFWB, a Host for ReachMD (XM Satellite Radio), Pasadena Public TV (Arroyo Channel 32) and received the 2010 NAACP Man of Valor Award.
Dr. Lisk earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. He completed an internal medicine internship at the UCLA/Charles Drew Campus and his neurology residency and movement disorders fellowship at the University of Texas at Houston.
