How likely are you to recommend Dr. Dasilva?
I have been seeing Dr. DaSilva for over 3 years now. I have been EXTREMELY happy with my care received by him. He is ALWAYS very kind, listens and checks to ensure that the procedures and interventions that we are doing are working! I have seen some other reviews that have criticized him for not doing joint replacements for higher BMI's. There are reasons for that and I too am in that same position. As a retired nurse and having had my knee's and back beat up over the years caring for patients, I know the risks involved in replacements when we are obese. It is not only his or Rebounds policy of not replacing joints but also pretty much medical wide due to increased complication risks. There are SOME out there that will and if you are at that point, do some searching around. But I tell you, cutting someone down or attempting to through reviews if ridiculous. We need to be doing what WE can to minimize post surgical complications. Like I said I am in the same boat, but he is AWESOME!
