About Me
Care Philosophy

I am a female urologist who has completed fellowship training in female pelvic medicine and urogenital reconstruction. I am well trained in laparoscopy, robotics, endourology (including percutaneous renal surgery), urologic oncology, reconstructive surgery, voiding dysfunction, and all areas of general urology. I completed medical school and residency training at University of California at San Francisco, a program that is consistently listed in the top 10 and learned from leaders in the urologic field. I have specialized training in InterStim placement for bladder dysfunction, repair of complex vaginal prolapse, repair of urethral disease including urethro-vaginal and vesico-vaginal fistula, management of interstitial cystitis, and management of urinary incontinence. I have also been trained in the evaluation and management of post-prostatectomy incontinence, BPH, as well as voiding dysfunction associated with other medical diseases affecting both men and women including spinal cord injury, MS, diabetes, Parkinson's, and stroke. I strive to remain enthusiastic and dedicated in my approach to patient care. I think it is important to be kind and sensitive when managing anxious patients, sensitive diagnosis, and complex family interactions. I strive to be available to my patients so I can assist in improving their quality of life and long term prognosis.
