I have suffered from acne for the past 20+ years, it has kept me away from social events, family outings, pictures, home videos, dating, and even from leaving the house sometimes...and because of this acne I have been left with some scarring on my face. I was very nervous and self-conscious going to a place like this because now someone would have to take an in-depth look at the one thing I have tried to avoid people from seeing. The second I walked into the office, I was greeted with a very calm, warm, and welcoming Doctor, Doctor Allen. She walked me through the process and talked to me about the procedure. I had a few questions, some were probably naïve and common knowledge, but she answered them without making me feel dumb and was very informative. It hasn't even been 24 hours since I visited Portica and I can already see a difference in my face.
