Visited with my PCP Dr. Sorensen in Dec. 2023 regarding some peripheral neuropathy in a couple of toes. He ordered blood tests to rule out the big, bad things that PN can be a sign of. Lo and behold, his tests showed a concerning possibility and referred me to an oncologist. By Feb. 2024, I started receiving chemo and immunotherapy. Had Dr. Sorensen not ordered that blood test and referral, I would have lost time valuable in treating a blood cancer. Since then there have been some treatment complications and Dr. Sorensen's follow-up, including personal phone calls, have been outstanding, including referring me to other specialists that my other doctors involved had not done. This shows me he is thorough, knowledgeable, and most of all, caring.
