Dr. Nachbar was the best psychiatrist I ever had. He was very caring, understanding and very professional. He never pushed medication, but suggested it and let me decide. He helped me get through so much and he was the first and only psychiatrist who let me have a voice in my treatment, that’s why I was able to heal. He always returned phone calls & was able to see me in emergencies. He was the only psychiatrist who knew how to help me with my eating disorder as well. I would not be alive if it weren’t for him. I am forever grateful to him and wish he didn’t leave CHH behavior health and go to DMHAS Young Adult Services. I lost the best psychiatrist ever while they gained the best.
