Patient Reviews
Apr 11, 2024
I've been under Dr. Boyle's care for many years and will provide the pros and cons of being treated by him. On the 'pro' side, as a surgeon, he is not 'knife-happy.' It took many years of observation before surgery was recommended. When it was time for my surgery, I got a 2nd opinion from a doctor of note and he described what needed to be done if my lesion was cancerous, and what he described would be life-changing. Dr. Boyle operated, the lesion was cancerous and the surgery was successful and did not have a life-changing impact (and there was no need for further treatment). One of the anesthesiologists told me that Dr. Boyle is one of the most brilliant surgeons he's worked with. Now, on the negative side, his bedside manner is far from perfect and you can read other reviews to get a feel for it. I fight back when I need to, I get the answers I need and, overall, I have a good relationship with him. I still see him several times a year and I have absolute trust in his capabilities

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
