I first saw Dr. Kurian for a serious knee problem back in the early 2000’s. I had dislocated it multiple times and it was so painful and unpredictable. Although he recommended knee replacement, he worked with me to try non- surgical options: physical therapy and knee shots. He was accepting and honest. (The message was basically, ‘ You need a knee replacement but this can help in the short run.’) I finally had a total knee replacement in 2013 and I regret that I didn’t have the surgery sooner. Recently (May 2023) he repaired my rotator cuff and did a fantastic job. He is very caring, a fantastic surgeon and patient and compassionate. He is very clear in his explanations and makes you feel an important part of the decision about your care. I can’t say enough about Dr. Kurian and his amazing team. Being able to have the procedure at the on site surgery center was so convenient. His nurses and assistants and anesthesiologist were all exceptional.
