Jana McKenzie, MD is a board-certified internist and owner of Coastal Concierge Internal Medicine. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College, graduating at the top of her class as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society. Dr. McKenzie trained at the University of Alabama Medical Center and completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Ohio. Before opening Coastal Concierge Internal Medicine, Dr. McKenzie worked as a staff physician for several large medical groups and was also the sole proprietor of two successful private practices in Watkinsville, Georgia, and Melbourne, Florida. Dr. McKenzie firmly believes that patient care should be a physician‚Äôs first priority. Feeling constrained by a system that no longer encourages doctors to take the time to connect with their patients, she founded Coastal Concierge Internal Medicine. Her practice has been specifically designed to provide patients with a highly personalized approach to their healthcare. This approach allows her to take the time to connect with patients, fully understand their concerns, and develop trusting relationships.
