I’ve never taken the time to leave a review for a physician before. But Dr Akhavan is a 5-star doctor! He’s personable, thorough, takes the time, and you can tell he really cares! I was impressed from my first visit, but after leaving my annual physical …I actually told 5 of my peers about him. Stating if anyone wasn’t pleased with their physician, they should check out Dr. Akhavan. I’m someone who despises going to the doctor, I feel uncomfortable in medical settings and have never had a M.D., in any specialty, that I would say I ‘really like’, until now. Dr Akhavan’s ‘manner’ even had me scheduling all the preventative appointments I’ve been putting off for the last 5 years. I don’t how he had that affect on me, but I hope he continues to practice in San Diego for the rest of my days.
