Care Philosophy

During my medical training and fellowship in advanced GI procedures, I found that I wanted to make a difference in the lives of the patients I treated. I think the most rewarding aspect of being a physician is the connection and relationship I form with my patients and their families. Sharing private medical concerns and opening up to another physician can cause anxiety for the patient, so to decrease their stress, I use humor to lighten up the appointment.
