I am happy to see Dr. Hlavacek is still practicing. I met him 33 yrs ago when I was expecting my daughter. She is now 32 and I am happy to say Dr. H is the primary reason for that. My daughter was born with her spine almost completely outside of her body (Spina Bifida). He knew immediately what was wrong and took steps to ensure she would survive the birth and transfer to another hospital. He called me a few days later to ensure I was comfortable, had food and to see how my daughter was.
