About Me

Care Philosophy
  • Dr. Murray brings extensive women&rsquos care experience to his Obstetrics-Gynecology practice, where he specializes in general gynecology, general obstetrics and preventive medicine. What is your patient care philosophy? Preventive care is my primary focus, and I encourage my patients that diet and exercise are the best medicine for staying healthy. What inspired you to become a physician? Many family members either are or were physicians, so it was a natural career path for me. What do you enjoy the most about your work? I like the interaction and the chit-chat with my patients and their families. I have the potential to effect positive change in people's lives everyday. What would you like people to know about your practice? I tend to be straightforward, and patients appreciate that. Every once in a while, a patient will come back and thank me for something I said that spurred them to take major action. Additionally, I treat my patients how I would like my family to be treated. If I do that, then the rest takes care of itself. When did you know you wanted to become a physician? I knew since I was in grade school. Tell us a little about your family. I am married and have five children. My awesome wife is a nurse. What are some of your hobbies? I am an avid runner, and I also like to surf fish and be outdoors. I like to visit the many great state parks Florida has to offer. How do you get involved in the community? I have participated in various running events locally. What else would you like the community to know about you? I am a United States Air Force and Army Veteran.
