He was my mom’s 2nd opinion on her breast cancer diagnosis in 1985. He convinced her to have surgery. Thanks to him, she is still living cancer free almost 40 years later! Thank you Dr. Wortman - you were one of her favorite doctors during that stressful time.

I have practiced Internal Medicine in Wilmington since 1979. Our practice prides itself in illness prevention and wellness. We have a personal approach with open, easy communication and no wait appointments. When you visit our office, you see a physician, not a nurse or a physician's assistant. We always consider cost effectiveness. Due to our breadth of experience, we frequently get involved in second opinions, especially in cancer and anemia related illnesses. We welcome new patients.
