Patient Reviews

I was lucky enough to have Dr. Asbury as my hospitalist at Methodist. Many specialist would come in, run a test and say "not MY problem" and leave. Dr. Asbury kept at it until we found the problem. Most important to me were his Nurse Practitioners that are not only accessible, but competent and thorough. Nurse Practitioner Vivian Agugo saved my life by paying attention to my case. She LISTENED to me and helped keep me from being discharged too early. His weekend nurse practitioner(YES, he actually has the weekend covered), Uche Igwe called in one more specialist, a nephrologist when I begged to see one. That doctor found the problem. A doctor is only good as his staff. I have had to leave great doctors because they were inaccessible because of apathetic and incompetent staff. Dr. Asbury is obviously tuned in to his staff. The turn around time when problems arose was very fast. Dr. Asbury often popped in late. He is a hard working doctor who cares!
