Dr. Jacqueline Hayes, MD, SSM DePaul Medical Group is an outstanding physician. She is caring, patient, and a great listener. Dr. Hayes diagnosed several serious medical conditions, one of which was life threatening. My pain level from my newly diagnosed spinal conditions resulted in my blood pressure being literally at stroke level. Dr. Hayes retook my blood pressure during a visit after the reading the nurse took reflected it at a high level. I explained to Dr. Hayes that my Pain Management Specialist could not administer epidural injections for my spinal pain because my blood pressure was too high; and my Cardiologist said that he could not prescribe additional treatment for my high blood pressure until my pain was under control. Dr. Hayes stated that she could not let me leave her office in that condition. She left the office for a short time. When she returned, she prescribed medication that brought my blood pressure down. Kudos to Dr. Hayes. She is a jewel.
