I highly recommend Dr. Jake. I met him in 2008. I was a seemingly healthy 42 year old, training for a half marathon, went in for routine physical, and a murmur was heard. I was diagnosed with a congenital problem that required valve replacement and open heart surgery. Dr. Jake was amazing before, during, and after my surgery. And I've been in his care for the last 15 years. On October 28th of 2023, I have my second surgery to replace the tissue valve that was put in back in 2008. Again, Dr. Jake handled my case with incredible care. As I'm 8 weeks post surgery and doing great, have returned to work and am living my life. It's hard to express my gratitude for the care I've received in words. I feel like I've been given two extra-leases on life. Dr. Jake is incredibly skilled at his craft. But he is also a very practical care giver who listens and treats you in a very personalized way. I think he's the best...and I also consider him to be a very good friend.
