I am on a number of medications for various conditions, including congestive heart failure. Dr. El Lakkis is the first doctor I have seen who, unprompted, checks for drug interactions and discusses them with my other doctors before writing a prescription (this should be mandatory, but the reality is that I often have to insist). Moreover, when I felt cold he fetched a blanket and put it over me himself. Thorough, attentive, compassionate.
