Patient Reviews

Dr. Hovis is an amazing doctor and is so kind and compassionate and really gets to know you as a patient. I recently aged out of the pediatric setting, but he was my cardiologist since I was 14 years old. He is so knowledgeable and kind and would definitely recommend him to anyone! I definitely will miss having him as my cardiologist and am so thankful he was part of my care team for all those years.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
