While Dr. Collins is no longer the pediatrician for my 3 children, due to the fact that we moved out of the state, he was for many years. Honestly during that time we felt extremely blessed to have him overseeing their care. And to this day he has remained the favorite of all of my children. Its astonishing to me when I see poor reviews for him. What some refer to as no bedside manner I guess I see as someone who doesnt beat around the bush, delivering what needs to be said. I always appreciated his ability to be honest and forthcoming. He also was very engaging with my children. If I was in the hospital for one child he knew exaclty who we are and would include my other children in our conversation. He was a huge advocate for my middle child when she needed a specialist. And helped ensure we received proper diagnosis. They never forgot Dr. Collins and neither have I as a mother. He is the best of the best.
