Dr. Hubbard saw both my children for evaluations and diagnoses years ago. She was able to look at the whole child rather than just a piece in making her evaluation. She then treated both my children but one needed her more and what a difference it made when she and her staff taught us different methods to use for our son. Both my children loved her and she had the knowledge, experience and more in working with them, especially my son. Today, both are young adults and no longer need her services but they remember the techniques, the approaches to use and they will never forget that.
As a developmental-behavioral pediatrician I evaluate the whole child before making diagnoses and treating conditions. I need to know how the child is doing physically, socially and emotionally; how they are learning and developing; and how their development is progressing. It is important that lifestyle issues, such as nutrition, screen time, exercise and sleep, are being taken care of before making decisions about treatment.
