I was referred to Dr. Brunworth by my primary care for an EMG due to my hand being half numb with nerve pain/shocks running down my arm. My primary care sent the referral on a Monday, and on Wednesday her staff contacted me (having already received the prior authorization from my insurance company) to set up an appointment for the next day - Thursday. Dr. Brunworth was on time, friendly, took the time to get a full background, and between the background and the EMG spent over an hour with me. She explained everything politely. Not to knock anyone else's experiences with her, but I would bet that quite a number of the one star reviews are due to Dr. Brunworth not capitulating to opioid seeking behavior, and the patient left angry they didn't get what they wanted. If you are looking for drugs and don't have a rock solid reason you need them, maybe look for another doctor. If you are looking for diagnosis and treatment/next steps, my experience with her was great.
