  • She attended Texas A M University and achieved a BS degree in Biology in 2004 Whoop Dr Biel received her doctorate in podiatric medicine from Dr William M Scholl s College of Podiatric Medicine in 2008 in Chicago IL As a native Houstonian Dr Biel returned to Houston and completed her 3 year surgical residency in 2011 Dr Biel truly puts her time and effort into each patient and treats a variety of issues bunions hammertoes warts heel pain and much more Diabetics need regular podiatric care maintenance for skin and nails and for blood flow issues open wounds and infections all of which Dr Biel treats Athletic injuries such as tendonitis fractures and sprains are also commonly treated in her office She sees all age groups If needed Dr Biel also performs surgical procedures at local hospitals or surgery centers These surgeries range from simple skin repairs nerve decompressions fracture repairs to complicated flatfoot reconstructions and limb salvage procedures There is not a foot and ankle issue that Dr Biel will not treat When she is not in the office she loves exercising with her bootcamp as she loves cooking and baking a lot It is definitely rewarding to use her own home grown vegetables from her garden when she s cooking another fun hobby she inherited from her grandfather You can find her relaxing at the end of the day with her dog Sophie Jo Dr Biel is beyond excited for you to take this adventure with her and help heal Greater Houston one foot at a time
