Dr. Gaston is a medical genius, and highly known and respected in the field of rheumatology. On my first visit with Dr. Gaston she explained to me the importance of the physical, mental, and science of medicine. She went into detail expressing all of the components will be important to my overall health. She talked about exercise, water consumption, and diet which I was lacking in these areas. She offered and recommended a psychological referral if needed and also recommended me to support groups in which I respectfully declined and their was no additional pressure. I am no longer a patient of Dr. Gaston based on insurance constraints. However, I miss Dr. Gaston very much and I highly recommend her to anyone struggling with autoimmune disorders. I have had 0 lupus flare ups since becoming Dr. Gaston's patient and it has been 20 years since my last flare up. I am forever grateful to Dr. Gaston's contribution to my medical health and journey.
