I went to see Dr. Forrester at New York Bariatric Group's Staten Island location. I went in for the consultation extremely nervous with lots of tears. He spent an hour with me explaining every surgery option, along with drawings. I left 100% sure I was ready to proceed. During my pre-op testing, I was going back and forth with which procedure would be best for me. He made sure to call me personally, he explained the procedures again and never pressured me one way or the other. It is not everyday you encounter such a compassionate and caring doctor. I am 4 weeks post-op from a gastric sleeve and I feel like a new person. Thanks to this amazing man! If you are searching for a great Bariatric surgeon, look no further, he is the best of the best! Also, the office staff at NYBG Staten Island are amazing and super helpful.
