Dr. Callendar did my second thyroid surgery. After my first surgery, I was violently ill from the anesthesia. Dr. Callender assured me she would take every precaution to make sure that it didn't happen again. She had her anesthesiologist consult with me before the surgery as well and she explained thoroughly how and why I was sick the first time and everything she was going to do to prevent it from happening again. I woke up feeling fine, my incision was tiny and I was able to go home the same day. Such a totally different experience from my first surgery in a good way. Dr. Callender is a wonderful doctor and warm, caring person.
