Children with autism suffer - in silence - with many medical maladies. Always these maladies exacerbate the symptoms of autism. Treating these maladies (gut issues, autoimmune issues, mitochondrial disorders etc) reduce symptoms of autism and allows children to learn and grow. Dr. Szakacs is kind, considerate and stays up to date with medical advancements. My son has seen her for 10 years and it is BY FAR the best decision we made. She is no longer just a doctor - she is family.
