Insurance was verified before my appointment to ensure I wouldn't have to pay the full fee given most Psychiatrists in Westchester don't take insurance, or only out of network. I arrived 5 minutes before, completed paperwork. Had a great first session with the Doc. He seemed to really listen and understand what I have occuring. I get very anxious and my therapist had referred me. After explaining I don't like the idea of being on medicine he provided other coping mechinisms. GREAT DOCTOR in my opinion. Well worth taking an extended lunch break to go and see!

Hameedi is a Board Certified Psychiatrist who specializes in the discreet treatment of individuals experiencing mental illness and psychiatric symptoms. Dr. Hameedi understands that each individual is unique and requires a custom-tailored approach to address that person's needs.

    Our goal at the Anxiety and Depression Center of Scarsdale is to provide a friendly andsupportive environment so that our patients can explore their emotional needs and overcome barriers which limit their potential.  Dr. Hameedi has experience dealing with a wide variety of pathologies.

     We are committed to the mental health and well being of every individual.  We work  within the context of multiple treatment modalities helping each person get to their desired destination for optimal happiness.
