I was going in for a routine gallbladder removal. Once inside, he could see that my gallbladder and adhered to my colon on one side and my common bile duct on the other. He said it was a disaster. Everything had to be cut apart and stitched closed including the colon. the gallbladder was removed with all tissue that had been adhered. I was in the hospital for 6 days and off work for 3 weeks. Because the colon was open and had to be closed, I had to be watched closely for sepsis. Amazing doctor and I was given amazing care. Would not trust any one else.
