I had a tubal ligation done by Dr. Martinez and I've had zero negative effects from my surgery, and everything went smoothly during and after. I kept him as my gynecologist in the years following. Initially in the pre-surgery consultations I was put off by him and almost changed doctors, but after a while realized that's just his demeanor. He gets to business and doesn't chit chat. I've come to like this, as he doesn't make you feel uncomfortable. Exams are no big deal.
