How likely are you to recommend Dr. Sussman?
I've been a patient of Dr. Sussman's for over a year. At our first appointment, I appreciated that she wanted to know more about me as a whole person, not just the numbers from my blood work. Yesterday was my first appointment since the pandemic started, and I shared with her the struggles I had felt and the physical and mental toll it had taken. She listened, and offered that I could always reach out if I needed help or to talk. That's something that's hard to find in a physician sometimes, and yet it's a connection and relationship that makes me feel like a person first, not just a patient. She is also the first physician I've had who readily admits when a specialist is better handled to help me with certain medical concerns, which has helped me to get healthier faster. She's incredibly responsive through myCooper, which helps when I have quick questions. I trust her as my primary care provider from preventative care through acute illness, and couldn't be happier to have found her.
