I was incredibly lucky to have Dr. Vander Haar as my doctor for a high-risk twin pregnancy at an advanced maternal age. I am now 6 weeks post partum, and still in awe of how well everything went, not only throughout the pregnancy but also for my C-section and the several days I spent in the hospital afterwards. What could have been a difficult, scary experience (according to many women in my twin mom group who were in similar conditions) was in fact the best, most serene time of my life, and I have Dr. Vander Haar to thank for it. Her expertise and professionalism, her patience and helpfulness, her incredible bedside manner and resourcefulness made me feel in the best of hands and taken care of in the best way possible (despite having complications like gestational diabetes and high blood pressure). Two weeks after the surgery it was as if it had never happened. Dr. Vander Haar is the best health professional I have ever encountered in the three countries I have lived in.
