Patient Reviews
Mar 23, 2024
My vision was really bad - about 20-400. I've worn glasses since I was 8 years old and hard contact lenses for 50 years. Dr. Koo performed cataract eye surgery on both my eyes and now my vision is 20-20 for distance. Since my vision was so 'bad', Dr. Koo advised me that the multi-focal lens was not an option for me. I still need my reading glasses 1.5 but that's a minor inconvenience. Regarding the surgery, I had no pain and no scratchiness (perhaps because my eyes were accustomed to hard lenses). I highly recommend Dr. Koo if you have cataracts.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
