After reviewing my test results on a Tuesday late afternoon, prior to a scheduled appointment on Wednesday morning at 8 am, Dr Campbell personally called me to instruct me to instruct me to go directly to the ER immediately! I of course was shocked, but Dr Campbell calmly explained the current conditions of my heart were life threatening! Dr Campbell reached out personally to a patient he had never met or seen before and Saved My Life! He also called ahead to Mercy ER downtown to prepare the Iowa Heart team on-site and ER of my pending arrival. When I checked in, the ER was expected me and I was cared for instantly.. I was admitted to a cardiology floor and after more testing received a defibrillator implant. Dr Campbell cared enough to reach out 12 hours early and Saved My Life!! That is clearly dedication and caring about his patients. Even a new patient he had never met! Thank you Dr. Campbell for acting above and beyond! My family and I are eternally grateful!
