Dr. Sand is very gentle and explains the procedures well. I am most appreciative for him teaching me to prevent future dental problems! I wish I knew these principles as a child.

About Me

Dr. Don Sand
Don practiced cosmetic and periodontic dentistry in California. He is also a founder a non-profit dental/medical organization to help orphans in Mexico, SIMS, Students in Medical Missions. He has studied and written extensively on preventive dental care and is working to create preventive programs for the youth in Ko'olauloa. Dr. Sand spent several years working in association with Loma Linda's Dental School first with a residency in their Hospital Dentistry program then as a professor of International Dentistry. Later he worked as the main associate in the private practice for the top Prosthodontic professor, Dr. Judith Strutz.
Currently Don also studies and teaches film and television for Olelo as well as for Kahuku Film Club. He is excited to combine his skills in Dentistry with his passion for film production to create entertaining/educational video that will protect and maintain the health of all the smiles in Red Raider Nation.
