Dr. Balar believes firmly in a philosophy of treating the entire patient rather than simply what an x-ray might reveal. It is an integrative, holistic approach to medicine that includes the best elements of a variety of techniques ranging from exercise and nutrition to physical therapy and sports psychology.
That all-encompassing approach to medicine has without question been part of the reason that Dr. Balar has been honored with the Patient's Choice Award every year since 2008. He has also received the Vitals Compassionate Physician Award, and was most recently selected as one of the Top Doctors in New Jersey for 2017.
