Exactly how a provider patient relationship should be! I was reminded of the appointment a few days before. I waited about 10 minutes before I was called back. Dr. Wojcikewych answered all my questions and asked several times if I had any other questions. We discussed my plan of care as a team. A few days later someone called to review my lab, although Dr. W had already written me on the portal. My spouse and I are from the Midwest. The first PCP I visited in Virginia was not good. I waited several months after that appointment to see Dr. W., but so worth it. I have been a nurse for 39 years and a nurse practitioner for 22 years. This is how you should take care of patients.
