Dr. KRAUS saved my life 8 years ago. Facing Stage IV cancer ... he never for a minute let me think I couldn't beat it. It was a long road but he was incredible.

About Me
Care Philosophy

I am a surgeon who specializes in the treatment of head and neck cancer. I have a broad spectrum of interests that include cancers of the oral cavity and larynx, salivary tumors, thyroid malignancies, skin cancers, and sinonasal tumors. Many of my research interests parallel my clinical expertise. I am also the Director of Head & Neck Oncology within this center, we have a particular interest in speech and swallowing function after cancer treatment. These functions ultimately have an important effect on a patient's quality of life. We are currently using functional MRI to understand the brain's role in swallowing function in an attempt to provide meaningful rehabilitation strategies for swallowing after head and neck cancer therapy. I also have an expertise in treating patients with tumors of the sinonasal cavity and base of skull.
