I have Hydrocephalus and Dr. Petruska implanted a new ventricular shunt in my brain after the one I had collapsed. He has always been very personable. He was careful to explain every procedure in layman terms. He personally checked on me several times while I was in the hospital each time. Honestly, I can't say enough great things about him. He knows what he's doing and I trust him with my life.........b/c he actually saved it! I consider him to be the Best Neurosurgeon in the WORLD & the History of FOREVER! I love him and most certainly miss having him here in Louisville, KY. My husband won't move us to Florida so I pray everyday that this shunt lasts the rest of my life! :-)
