Dr. Puder stands out in his field as a psychiatrist and psychotherapist. He is the antidote to the 15-minute med checks plaguing outpatient psychiatric care. His approach is nuanced and patient-centered, balancing the latest insights in evidence-based medicine with time-honored psychodynamic tradition. He has helped me gain deep psychological insights that are transforming how I view myself and others in a way that medication alone never could. In pairing this self-knowledge with his diet and exercise recommendations, I have lost 75 pounds since we started working together! He's also accommodating, professional, patient, and reliable. In fact, in over a year of seeing him at least weekly, he has never cancelled an appointment last minute, making me wonder if it has ever occurred to him to take a sick day lol.
