Dr. Peters is a wonderful physician. He has provided excellent care for a loved one with cirrhosis of the liver, including referring her for specialized care with the liver transplant team at the University of Pennsylvania. Throughout, he has been her local care provider with regular visits and procedures. His diagnostic and treatment capabilities are excellent, but his qualifications do not end there. He is truly patient-centered in his approach. He talks through and explains procedures and conditions in a manner that is kind and compassionate. He always takes his time and is very thorough. You don't feel like you are being rushed out the door or that he is short on time. When hard topics need to be addressed, he does so with ease -- somehow finding just the right balance of matter-of-fact information and empathetic response. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Peters to my friends, family members, or the public in general.
