Dr Gochnour really listens and cares about his patients. I had surgery recently and feel better than I ever have in my life! I suffered my entire life with acid reflux. 50 years later I decided to do something about it and I’m glad I waited, because I had the best doc for the job!

About Me

Care Philosophy
  • Dr David Gochnour, MD, FACS, FASMBS, is a graduate of Texas A&M with a degree in biomedical science, followed by medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. He completed residency in General Surgery at UTHSC, and a fellowship in minimally invasive, robotic and bariatric surgery at UTHSC, Memorial Hermann Hospital, Texas Medical Center. Dr Gochnour is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. He participates in the Community Practice Committee of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons and is State Faculty for the American College of Surgeons Advanced Trauma Life Support program.
