'Do to others what you would want them to do to you' and 'the best interest of the patient is the only interest to be considered' are two principles that have been ingrained in me and continue to influence my approach to caring for patients. As a hand and orthopedic surgeon, my focus is on addressing problems of the hand and upper extremity. The hands are commonly affected by arthritis, congenital differences, overuse syndromes, and injuries to the bones, tendons, nerves, and blood vessels. I enjoy working together with patients to optimize and restore their function and quality of life by addressing these problems with individualized, non-operative and operative treatment options.
