My PCP referred me to Dr. Kocs because we could not determine where my severe pain originated. Dr. Kocs immediately ordered multiple diagnostic tests and discovered stage 4 cancer. Treatment was ordered and thus it began. Dr. Kocs explained the treatment plan and what to expect in terms I understood. He never hesitated to answer my questions-and believe me, there were many. He graciously let my daughter FaceTime during one of the initial appointments and addressed her questions and concerns. She is a physician assistant and knew what to ask. Dr. Kocs has never rushed through appointments nor made me feel like just a number. He genuinely treats patients with respect and compassion. I am forever grateful to him for saving my life.
