I haven't seen Dr. Uderitz yet, as my appointment is today, but in response to the first two reviews, I will say that the most helpful psychiatrist I have ever had was a doctor who did not waste my time with empathetic responses and caring emotions, rather, he listened to me, he explained why and what I was experiencing in a way I could understand, and he worked with me for a year on getting the right combination of medication for my personal needs. If I wanted to see someone who felt sorry for me or showed empathetic qualities, I'd go to church or see a counselor. I do not want that from a psychiatrist. I want to know what the issue is, why it is, and how we can go about making my quality of life better. I'll let you know how it goes after my appointment.
